Pharmacist and Chief Research Officer at Thermodyne Systems
Dr. rer. nat. Clemens Tscheka is a pharmacist and chief research officer (CRO) at Thermodyne Systems, one of the leading developers of inhalers, with offices in Toronto, Canada and Stuttgart. Well-known products from Thermodyne Systems are the Zeus Arc GT and the Zeus ArcPods. He studied pharmacy in Saarbrücken, working on his diploma thesis in Toronto and completing his PhD in pharmaceutical technology in Marburg. During his doctorate, he dealt with the development of a fibrous drug carrier for lung use. Even after completing his doctorate, he continued to focus on inhalation. He worked in the pharmaceutical industry at Boehringer Ingelheim in the analytical development of inhalation medication, here in particular with the Respimat Inhaler, which is successfully used as an inhaler for the drug Spiriva in lung diseases.
